Workshop on Molluscan Diversity and Conservation

CSC – Ghana, in collaboration with the Threatened Species Conservation Alliance (THRESCOAL) presents a one-day Practical Workshop on Molluscan Diversity and Conservation in Ghana. 

 

Molluscs (Snails) are a very sensitive group of organisms and are important for a variety of ecological, economic and social processes. Habitat loss, agrochemicals and land use change remain the biggest threats to Snails.

 

The Workshop will bring together a cross-section of ecologists, researchers, conservation biologists, stakeholders and students to enhance the knowledge and conservation of Molluscs and their habitats in Ghana, with particular emphasis on the Atewa Range Forest Reserve.
